I build many different original styles of Bonsai Stands including this Lattice Formal Bonsai Stand that has handcrafted legs, with 43 separate pieces, which are cut, and sanded by using 3 different type of sanders, all done by hand. The two support bars on the sides are attached to the underside of the top and legs are very unique in that it takes many different tools to make them. Note: The Lattice Formal Mission Bonsai stand is my favorite stand to build. I designed this style on request from a customer in the state of Washington 20 years ago. The customer needed a stand for a Formal Upright Bonsai tree. It will also work for many other styles of Bonsai stands.
